Why did you choose Enterprise Fitness?
At the beginning of this year while browsing figure competitors over the internet for some inspiration, I came across a picture of the beautiful Janet Kane. Flicking through her web images a picture of herself and a young man came up that I believed was her trainer – Mark Ottobre. To be honest I was in absolute awe of the physique these two people had created, naturally. Janet instantly became my idol, Mark my dream coach. I knew then and there EF was supreme at what they do.
Are you happy with what you have achieved?
I couldn’t be happier with the changes made to my body, especially after seeing comparison photos from my first competition to the most recent INBA Vic state titles. With Mark’s direction, my training form has improved greatly, this has allowed me to achieve far greater results than I ever had in the past, and in such a short period of time too! After killing myself with low calorie diets, heavy excessive weight training and copious amounts of cardio I now see comp prep in a different light.
What have you learnt since coming to Enterprise Fitness?
I have learnt that correct exercise form is vital to proper weight training and more important than lifting a lot of weight. And that using full range of motion enhances flexibility and strength. This prevents injuries, creates a well balanced physique and builds the most muscle. Smashing heavy weights around gets you nowhere.
What’s plans for the future?
Mark and I are currently working towards the INBA Southern Cross Championships 2015 to qualify for the INBA/PNBA World Championships Dubai – I want my Pro Card!
