It’s time for our member spotlight of the week and today we want you to meet our awesome member, Tom Parker…
Tom, who trains with Senior Coach James, has achieved outstanding results. We asked him to share with us his transformation so far and to give a bit of an insight on how he has found training with Enterprise Fitness
Why did you join Enterprise Fitness?
Each night I would be stuck in traffic outside Enterprise Fitness and would see all the athletic trainers and members. After putting it off for 12 months I decided to get in touch. From that first point of contact, I really loved the personalised approach. I wanted to get lighter and stronger without bulking up to help with my passion for surfing.
What kind of result have you seen so far?
My original goal was to wear a pair of 34inch shorts and a large T-shirt that I have owned for 2 years but have never been able to wear. I achieved this and was wearing both in less than 4 weeks of starting with James! Overall I’ve lost around 13kgs, had a good drop in body fat, especially stomach, chest and back and my waist has gone from 37 to 33 inches!!!
How do you feel now?
I feel lighter, stronger and most importantly in control of what I eat. James always listens to my individual needs and challenges (I’m 37!) and responds with tweaks to my approach that are realistic and doable. James is a great listener and not one of those trainers who is on a mission to inflict pain. I always look forward to our 2 hours each week – can’t say this about other past trainers or programs.
What has been the biggest change?
My knowledge and awareness of how different foods affect my body.
What are you most excited about next?
Having enough energy and stamina to surf at least twice a day for two weeks on our next holiday!
