Kristine’s aim is to maximise health, performance and body composition using specific lab work and diagnostic data. Her assessment includes the client’s health history, varying symptoms, blood chemistry and nutrition and lifestyle factors to determine how to support their health. If there is a need to dig a little deeper she uses Functional Tests such as Adrenal and Hormone Profiles, Organic Acid Testing, Gut Microbe Analysis and Hair Mineral Analysis to name only a few. Through using science-based methods this enables her to quickly assess any underlying health issues that may prevent clients from reaching their goals.
Practicing from Enterprise Fitness, Melbourne’s premier training facility as a Functional Health Practitioner, Kristine provides a service to clients that have tried everything to correct their health issues, seen various health practitioners but are still not seeing the desired results. Kristine looks at each client as an individual and the plan of action given is well researched, thorough and tailored to each client to support his or her health issues and in achieving their goals whether aesthetic or health related.
A highly skilled professional, Kristine has various qualifications to her name. In 2004, she became a Registered Nurse where she worked in various specialized areas over 7 years. More recently Kristine was employed as a Technical Specialist for a cardiac device company, this involved working along side many well-known cardiologists from all over Australia and New Zealand.
After deciding her true passion was in working with people on a more personal level to achieve their health and fitness goals, Kristine completed her Diploma of Functional Medicine with Functional Medicine University and continues to keep her knowledge updated by attending courses and seminars with well recognized leaders in the health industry.
Kristine’s natural inclination for helping others, health and its manifestation in the human body has been evident since she was in her teens. For a large part of her high school years, Kristine did Humanitarian Aid work in third world countries. The many months she spent caring for others amidst the impoverished regions of countries such as India and Mexico ignited her passion for a career in healthcare, and further fuelled an innate hunger to learn about the human body.
For Kristine, increasing wellness, fitness and physical health through means of healthy eating and optimal living is a way of life not a 12 week diet plan. Through her health and fitness she has found a place to gain strength, confidence and mental clarity, and as a byproduct she is in shape and feeling great all year round, and its this mentality that she instills in clients for long term success.
She enjoys pushing the boundaries and challenging herself. In 2012 Kristine competed in the INBA All Female Classic in the figure division, where she placed 1st in her first competition. She also participated in the first Tough Mudder held in Melbourne where she completed the course in 2 hours.
